Project Description:
This academic project, conducted at the Robotics Club of Pulchowk Campus, focused on designing and developing robots capable of accurately throwing arrows to compete with international robots representing Nepal in ABU ROBOCON 2021. The project aimed to showcase Nepal's engineering prowess on an international stage through innovative robotic solutions.
Project Type:
Academic Project @Robotics Club Pulchowk Campus
Objectives:
Design and develop robots capable of throwing arrows accurately
Compete in ABU ROBOCON 2021 representing Nepal
Showcase Nepal's engineering excellence in robotics on an international platform
Role and Responsibilities
Role in the Project:
Team Lead
Methodology/Approach Used:
The project kicked off with brainstorming and idea generation to shape the design of the robot, exploring various concepts and innovative ideas. Subsequently, the components of the robot were designed using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and precision in the digital models. Following the design phase, fabrication was carried out using advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing and CNC laser cutting, allowing for the production of high-quality, intricate parts. Upon completion of fabrication, the components were integrated to assemble the robot, which underwent rigorous testing to evaluate its functionality and performance. Based on the feedback obtained from testing, iterative refinement of the robot's design was undertaken, addressing any identified issues or areas for enhancement to optimize its efficiency and effectiveness.
